Golden wattle flowers, which look like exploding fireworks or pom-poms, bloom across Western Australia during winter and spring. These blossoms are so beloved that during World War I, sprigs of them were sold to raise money for the war effort. The vibrant blooms are a cherished symbol of the region’s natural beauty and history.
