Aboriginal Necklace – Kambarang – by Momo

$45.00

Our beautiful Aboriginal necklaces, designed by children in the foster care system, are helping them discover and connect with their cultural heritage.

Kambarang, occurring in October and November, is the Noongar season of birth and is marked by warmer, drier weather. It is a time when the landscape explodes with color as countless wildflowers, including Kangaroo Paws and the brilliant orange of the Australian Christmas Tree, burst into bloom. During this season, reptiles emerge from hibernation, young birds are born, and animals become more active, making it a period of abundant life and energy.  In this stunning design, Momo is showing flowers blossoming in this lovely season.

The necklace is handmade with leather and a silver clasp. Our pendant is 35 mm in diameter.
